<p>Students will focus on learning to use fundamental skills that will help transition students to algebra. Areas of study will include learning to use fundamental mathematical functions with integers, fractions, and decimals; the order of operations to evaluate variable expressions; solve variable equations using transformations, translate word sentences into mathematical equations, and solve word problems. Students will apply these skills to problem solving in the real world. Placement:  Per Teacher Recommendation</p>
