The craft students are putting finishing touches on their masks. Each student designed and created a mask after learning about masks and their functions in other cultures. The masks were made from papier-mache and paint. They look great!

The art students are currently going through a unit on color. We are learning about the properties of color and how to use color effectively. The students are applying their knowledge of color while creating a “color creature” (100 points= I grade on effort). I can’t wait to see how they turn out.

P.S. I rarely give homework so most posts will contain information about what your student is doing in art.
