Parent Teacher Organization

The New Vista Parent Teacher Organization’s (PTO) main focus is to build strong working relationships among families, teachers and the school, in support of its students. This can include recruiting and coordinating volunteers; assisting teachers with special events/field trips, or other activities; organizing parent/student education events; planning teacher appreciation activities; working with community partners and much more.

New Vista PTO holds an annual spring fundraiser to assist in providing the school with monies for “extras” that will benefit all. Our monthly PTO meetings serve as a venue for discussions about a variety of educational and day to day issues. The PTO provides a forum to consider opportunities for enriching the programs within the school and is a valuable conduit between parents, teachers and administration.
