Foundation Board

The New Vista School Foundation’s mission is to engage community leaders in the cause of the New Vista School and raise funds to promote student growth and support the long term development of the school.

What is the New Vista School Foundation?

  • The New Vista School Foundation (NVSF) is a group of dedicated volunteers. Members range from parents to community leaders.
  • NVSF was created to ensure on-going financial success of New Vista School and to assist with student scholarships. Through its fund raising efforts, NVSF continues to provide support for operating expenses and student need along with program development opportunities for staff and parents and capital growth projects.
  • NVSF works to develop partnerships with foundations, corporations and other philanthropic organizations. For the past three years NVSF has participated in the Good News For Kids Event- www.goodnewsforkids.org - which is held in conjunction with the Golden State Foods Foundation. Prominent donors to New Vista School include the Crean Foundation, the S. Mark Taper Foundation, the McBeth Foundation, and the Uberroth Foundation.
  • Each year, the Foundation operates our Annual Fund Drive. Families and friends of New Vista School have the opportunity to make personal donations during this event.
  • NVSF is a charitable non-profit organization that has qualified under section 501(C)3 of the Internal Revenue Code.
