Advisory Board

MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the Advisory Board of the New Vista School is to guide, advise and support the faculty, administration and the Board of Directors in order for New Vista School to realize its goal: The educating of students and their families who have been identified as being on the Spectrum or needing a specialized education which focuses on social cognition, outside affinities, self awareness and traditional academics.

The Advisory Board will hold meetings at the New Vista School a few times a year. The invitations for these meetings will be sent by e-mail in advance for planning purposes. Advisory Board members might be asked to voluntarily participate on committees or give workshops to stakeholders (faculty, staff, parents and/or students) of the school.

The New Vista School has invited various professionals to become members of the Advisory Board so that the New Vista School will take advantage of the newest information necessary to appropriately run an institution serving the needs of students on the Spectrum. Members of this board are leading professionals in the following fields:
